TGS Parents:
Parent pick-up procedure will be the same as last year. It seems to be working well. Thank you for your patience in waiting in a single car line behind the car in front of you. Your child will be standing on the sidewalk on the east circle drive. Your child will be required to wait there until the vehicle reaches them. Please continue to pull forward as the other cars leave. When your child is safely in your car, you may slowly and carefully pull out of the line and proceed on your way.
On rainy days the students will wait at the top of the ramp-under the roof. The students will be sent out to your car as you pull up.
The Village of Teutopolis built a new road on the south side of the railroad tracks. If you are having trouble getting back on to Route 40 after picking up your children after school, this gives you another option. You could turn south after exiting the Parent Pick-Up circle drive. This road would take you along the north side of the K of C Hall. You could turn north there and use the 4-way stoplight to get on to Route 40. This could be a much safer and quicker way for you to get on to Route 40. You might want to consider this option instead of trying to make a left hand turn onto Route 40 from Oak Street.
On regular school days, parent pick-up begins at 3:15. For half-days of school, pick-up begins at 11:15. On the early dismissal days, usually before a holiday, parent pick-up begins at 2:30.
If you are running late or get caught up in traffic, etc. and you cannot make it to parent pick-up on time, your child will be escorted to the office where you may pick them up.
Thank you for helping us to keep this important time running smoothly!
