Measuring Perimeter and Area of Regular Hexagons

Mrs. Bloemer’s 2nd hour math class took advantage of the beautiful weather and went outside to practice their skills using tape measures. Their assignment was to find the perimeter and area of various shapes. The students discovered that there is a lot more to being a carpenter than they realized and that accuracy is extremely important when measuring.
