Cheerleaders Bring Home Hardware

The Teutopolis Junior High Cheerleading squad attended the NCA Cheerleading Camp held at Eastern Illinois University on July 16-19. During camp, the squad earned two excellent ribbons and four superior ribbons for performing cheers and chants. The squad also received a certificate for Technical Excellence in stunting, a National Championship Bid Winner certificate, and a trophy for being Top Team in the Game Day Cheer. Five members were awarded ribbons as All American Nominees; Megan Miller, Jessica Goldstein, Paige Koester, Maria Esker, and Makenzie Wermert. Following All American tryouts, Paige Koester was presented with a certificate for being an All American Cheerleader. Sponsors are Michele Mette and Julie Probst.
