Teutopolis Junior High baseball team won the first round game at the state tournament in East Peoria. They defeated Danville North Ridge 16-0 and will advance to the semi-final game Saturday morning at 10:00 at East Side Centre in Peoria. Any student that is already signed up to ride the fans bus tomorrow morning should please be at the junior high and ready to leave at 6:45 a.m. Do not be late!!! The bus will not wait on you!
Directions to East Side Centre were handed out at school this past week and are not real accurate. The easiest route to the facility is to take the first Peoria exit and then follow the brown signs that direct traffic to the East Side Centre. These are small brown signs located on the ride side of the road.
A reception will be held Sunday, October 5, at 11:45 a.m. at Teutopolis Junior High School for the team. All players and managers, 7th & 8th grade, are invited to ride the fire truck and attend the ceremony. Please be at the junior high and ready to board the fire trucks at 11:45 Sunday morning. A fire truck ride will be taken uptown and then return to the junior high for a brief ceremony. All students, staff, parents, grandparents, and any other fans are invited to attend.
