
After the 7th grade girls basketball victory this morning at the State tournament the junior high fan club enjoyed some downtime at the bowling alley. Great job today crew! Go Lady Shoes!

TGS and TJHS staff and students donated thousands of food items along with thousands of dollars in monetary donations in its "Food to Share" initiative. All items and donations were given to Catholic Charities this afternoon.

TJHS seventh grade students took a field trip to Landfill 33 recently. They learned how the landfill was developed and the "behind the scenes" operation of what it takes to keep the landfill running smoothly and efficiently. Thank you Mr. Hayes for an excellent presentation!



Teutopolis Junior High School honored our veterans at the junior high girls basketball game last night. Jacob Schumacher did an outstanding job in singing "God Bless America" and the "National Anthem." Thank you veterans for answering the call to duty and providing us the freedom we certainly enjoy each and every day.

Teutopolis Junior High PE classes recently walked to the Teutopolis American Legion Memorial to pay homage to our local veterans. Mike Funneman did a great job of explaining how the American Legion Memorial came about. "Thank you" Mike for taking the time to do this!



The TJHS Pep Band (and guests) played at last night's junior high girls basketball game. Mrs. Orndorff and her crew sounded amazing!! They will be performing again this Friday at the girls game versus Dieterich.




Teutopolis Junior High School high honors and honors list for the 1st quarter....


Teutopolis Junior High School will be honoring all veterans at the junior high girls' basketball game on Thursday, November 11 against Sigel-St. Michael. All veterans will be admitted into the game for free and will be honored in between the 7th and 8th grade games out on the court. Jake Schumacher will be singing "God Bless America" and the "National Anthem." We hope many veterans will come out to this event so we can show them our appreciation.


TJHS "Red Ribbon Week" festivities continued with "Wear Red" to school to support a "Drug Free" environment.

TJHS had "Red Ribbon Week" festivities with it's national slogan "Drug Free Looks Like Me." Thursday was Country vs. Country Club dress up.

TJHS art class projects were on full display during parent/teacher conferences last week. We have a lot of talented artists in this eighth grade class!





TJHS students enjoyed some team building events outside on Monday afternoon. Thank you TJHS Student Council for organizing the "Field Day" activities! The students had a terrific time!



Mr. Niemerg's exploratory class was testing the strength of their bridges. Students had to build bridges using only paper clips, straws, and pins.... a lesson in engineering.





7th graders participated in a "book tasting" to be introduced to new books at the junior high. Thank you to the district for filling our library with new books!!!




Congratulations to the TJHS Boys Baseball Team on a regional championship! The Wooden Shoes now play for the sectional championship on Saturday, Sept. 25 at TJHS at 11:00 AM.
