The leaders that sponsor the HERO Award for Effingham County are Crossroads Counseling & consultation (Jonathan Kabbes) and AAA Mobility Specialists (Keith Lewis).. It will be awarded in recognition to senior students of Effingham County High Schools(St Anthony, Teutopolis, Effingham, Beecher City, Altamont & Dieterich) on a rotating basis. The qualities sought for the HERO are Courage, Humility, Sacrifice, Compassion, Perseverance, Call to DUTY, Hope, Humor, and Forgiveness. I am the coordinator of the program.
