Ms. Tarin's 2nd grade class enjoyed a read and feed on November 1st. Students could read and take AR tests while enjoying a snack of dirt pudding. Students had to follow the steps in a process to make their snacks, which is a math skill they have been working on.

Mrs. Repking's 1st grade class wrapped up their election unit today using the book “Duck for President” by Doreen Cronin! They spent last week discussing what makes a good leader and character traits of both candidates (Duck and Farmer Brown). Then, they did an opinion writing on what makes each candidate a good leader to run the farm. After some very persuasive, civil discussions, the ballots were cast today! It was a VERY tight race, but by ONE vote, Duck won!!!

Mrs. Repking’s first graders joined their 4th grade buddies in Mrs. Sandschafer’s classroom for a fun STEAM project! They built catapults using popsicle sticks, rubber bands, and a spoon. Then, they tested them out by trying to launch pompoms into baskets held by their teachers! Some great diving catches were made!
