Olivia's artwork was selected as one of the 100 finalists for Picture the Music this year! There were thousands of entries and Olivia represented Teutopolis Grade School very well. She attended the virtual ceremony Saturday March 27 and learned she received a blue ribbon award for her artwork “River of Music”. Great work Olivia!

Mrs. Hoene's and Mrs. Jansen's second graders took a virtual tour of the White House using the virtual reality goggles. They viewed and learned about interesting places in the White House. This ties in with the story they are reading called Grace for President.

Brittany took first place in Mrs. Habing’s challenge to recite Pi. She recited Pi to 165 decimal places! Gus took second place by reciting to 107 decimal places. Both received a ‘Pi’neapple and Oatmeal Cream ‘Pi’es. Brittany also received a gift card to Niemerg’s for a free ‘Pi’e!

Mrs. Meyer’s fifth grade class got to choose an American Revolution topic to recreate. The students did a wonderful job creating games, making 3D models, creating Google slides, and making puzzles. The students will be presenting their projects in class this week.

Mrs. Hoene's second grade class had a visit from Dale, the calf, during FFA week. Dale, the calf, came to school along with Ethan, Elizabeth, and Mr. & Mrs. Weidner. Ethan and Elizabeth explained to the class what has to be done to care for Dale. The students had a chance to help bottle feed Dale and pet him! A bag full of goodies was handed out to the class. The students really enjoyed seeing Dale and learning something new! We want to thank the entire Weidner family for the fun experience!!
