As part of Teutopolis Unit #50’s ongoing effort to provide clear, factual information regarding facility planning, the district is sharing additional information about the long-standing lease agreement for Teutopolis Grade School.
Teutopolis Grade School is located in a facility owned by St. Francis of Assisi Parish and leased to the district for school use. This arrangement has served students and the community for many years and remains an important part of the district’s facility planning discussions.
Following the Board of Education’s approval of a resolution placing a school building bond question on the November 3, 2026 ballot, the district is sharing information to help the Wooden Shoe community better understand the current facility arrangement, key lease details, district responsibilities, lease payments, and the lease-related considerations being reviewed as part of this process.
