On November 3, district voters will consider whether Teutopolis CUSD #50 may issue up to $15 million in school building bonds for improvements to Teutopolis Grade School.
The facility discussion reflects identified infrastructure, accessibility, and functional needs that the Board is considering as part of its long-term planning.
To help families review the ballot question and the information behind it, we are sharing three resources:
The TGS Informational Flyer summarizes the proposed improvements, estimated tax impacts, grade school lease, and what would happen after the vote.
The TGS Frequently Asked Questions provides more detail on the planning process, facility needs, finances, and ballot question.
The TGS Lease Information flyer explains the district’s long-standing lease of the Grade School building and the lease considerations associated with a potential renovation.
These resources and the underlying reports are also available through our Clear View website. If you have questions, please contact me at the Unit Office or email the Board of Education.
Thank you for taking the time to stay informed as our Wooden Shoe community considers this question.
Respectfully,
Matt Sturgeon
