
Mrs. Jansen’s kindergarten class learned about different types of weather. They learned about tornadoes, thunder, lightening, volcanoes, and snow. The children enjoyed making snow and a volcano.



Mrs. Meyer's fifth graders and Mrs. Kinkelaar's first graders enjoyed painting a Valentine's Day tree during the buddy program! The fifth graders also gave the first graders Valentine's Day coloring books with Valentine's Day jokes inside!





Mrs. Jansen’s second graders made Valentine’s Day decorations for nursing home residents with help from their sixth grade buddies in Mrs. Habing’s class.

IMPACT GAMEDAY made it to Mrs. Kreke’s Kindergarten class! Zac Niebrugge shared his Jersey with his Aunt Mrs. Kreke for Impact GAMEDAY! Mrs. Kreke’s students got a little taste of what it feels like to be a Wooden Shoe by trying on Zac’s jersey!! Watch out THS these kindergarten students will be ready to play in 2031!

Mrs. Kreke’s kindergarten class celebrated their 100th Day of School! They enjoyed 100 licks on a Tootsie pop, 100th Day Trail mix, getting 100 signatures, and counting to 100 by 1’s, 5’s, 10’s, & 2’s.

Preschoolers enjoyed their winter unit and finished it up with a hot chocolate day!



Mrs. Kreke’s kindergarten class has been practicing their 52 popcorn words! They are building their way up to 70 words before 1st grade!!



Mrs. Sandschafer's 4th grade math students have been learning how to simplify fractions. They used playing cards to practice their newly learned skills.





Mrs. Schackmann’s ELA class started 3rd quarter by having a book tasting. Students traveled from table to table and tested out new books and genres.


Thank you to our superintendent, Mr. Sturgeon, for being the Mystery Reader in Mrs.Kinkelaar’s 1st grade class! The students loved the stories and special treat!



Mrs. Willman's first graders got together with their fifth grade buddies to make a Christmas tree craft!

We had a busy day at TGS! Santa came to visit, and we had fun playing Elf Games!




The second graders made edible Christmas trees. Thank you to all the parents who donated items to make this project possible!



Grandparents are so Helpful! Mrs. Chesnut's 6th grade students invited some of their grandparents to school to help sew a Christmas present for their parents.

The first graders had their annual Friendsgiving Feast! They read a story about The First Thanksgiving and discussed the important roles the Pilgrims and Native Americans each played in the feast. We are thankful for this awesome group of first graders!

Mrs. Mellendorf's first grade class read/listened to the Junie B. Jones Thanksgiving chapter book. In this book, the characters brought in one item they were thankful for and had a Thankful Bag Show and Tell. Mrs. Mellendorf's class did the same activity!
