Mrs. Sandschafer's 4th grade math class reviewed their multiplication facts by playing Battleship. The students worked hard at recalling their facts to sink their partner's ships.




Mrs. Tipton’s kindergarten class made thank you cards for the first responders that assisted our community this weekend. We are thankful for all you do to keep us safe!


The 3rd grade students enjoyed making marble mazes for STEM in Mrs. Drees’ class. They learned what worked best and had fun trying out each marble.


Ms. Kreke's first graders finished their apple unit and had an apple tasting party. The students especially loved the apple candy!




The students in Mrs.Drees’ classroom have a student teacher from EIU this fall. Miss Koester held an election on Wednesday. The students sampled two kinds of cookies, and they voted on their favorite cookie. Oreo was the winner! We are excited to have Miss Koester at TGS.

Mrs. Wendt class did a little experiment to see if they needed their sense of taste and smell to help them learn.

Mrs. Kinkelaar's 1st graders have been learning all about APPLES! They took a special trip over to the Pruemer's house to learn about their apple trees. Each student got to pick their very own apple! A big thank you to the Pruemer family for allowing Mrs. Kinkelaar's class to visit and for the yummy apples!




Mrs. Wendt's class has discovered their love of reading!

Check out these cute little beginning writers and chefs! Students in Mrs. Mellendorf's first grade class worked on their first "How-To" writing project. They wrote down the steps to making applesauce and focused on using the transition words of first, next, then, and last. Students used the steps from their writings to make some yummy applesauce!
