
Mrs. Kreke’s kindergarten class was surprised with pumpkins today donated by Mr. Will, and enjoyed popcorn while making scary popcorn skeleton hands! A huge thanks to Mr. Will!

Mrs. Jansen's class was excited to have a Guest reader, Mrs. Lisa Hutson. The children enjoyed listening to her read stories and do finger plays.

Mrs. Yager’s second grade and Mr. Thoele’s sixth grade classes buddied up to complete an online Halloween escape room and a haunted house craft together.

TGS Book Fair starts October 24th!


Mrs. Gaddis and Mrs. Deters Jr. High Expository classes interviewed Mrs. Jansen's kindergarten class. The Jr. high students then wrote a book, illustrated it, and read it to their kindergarten friend. Kindergarten students were excited to receive their books. The children all enjoyed a juice pouch and cookies while they read their books. Thank you to Mrs. Gaddis, Mrs. Deters, and the Jr. High students!


Mrs. Jansen's kindergarten class visits the Teutopolis Fire Department. Kyle McMahon, Jason Esker, and Fire Chief Tim McMahon talked to children about their trucks, equipment, and fire safety. Thank You to all our Teutopolis Volunteer Fire Fighters! We appreciate all your hard work, time, and dedication.


Mrs. Drees’ class enjoyed planning and constructing marble mazes.


4th graders from Ms. Mette and Mrs. Schackmann’s classes helped their kindergarten buddies from Mrs. Jansen and Mrs. Kreke’s classrooms make some "spooktacular" masks!



Mrs. Kinkelaar’s 1st graders have been learning all about pumpkins. Today they ended their unit with a Pumpkin Investigation! Students studied the inside and outside of a pumpkin. They even got their hands messy and pulled out the seeds. There were 224 seeds inside of the pumpkin!





Mrs. Kreke’s kindergarten class visited the T-town fire station and ended the day with a special fire truck snack!!

The second grade classes had a great field trip to the Scovill Zoo and Children’s Museum!

2nd and 4th grade students enjoyed raising chicks this fall. Thanks to Ag in the Classroom coordinator, Lynn Wolff, for providing the eggs and incubators for students and teachers. Thank you Mrs. Eckelberry, Mrs. Bushue, and Mrs. Jansen for a wonderful experience for your students!

Thank you Ag in the classroom for providing pumpkins for our 100 kindergarteners! The students participated in a science experiment to see if pumpkins float. Our special scientists found out that large and small pumpkins do float.


Rocket science engineers in the sixth grade designed and built rockets that they launched!

Mrs. Kreke’s kindergarten class and Mrs. Shackman’s 4th grade class enjoy the sunshine with a leaf rubbing project.



Mrs. Bushue’s second graders completed a fall art project with help from their sixth grade buddies in Mrs. Chesnut’s class.




Mrs. Repking's 6th grade science classes engineered exercise devices that would prevent muscle and bone loss when astronauts are in deep space!
