The students in Mrs. Chesnut’s ELA classes had to argue their textual evidence in front of “Judge Judy”. The teams with the winner arguments are pictured with the judge.

The first graders had their annual Friendsgiving Feast! They read a story about The First Thanksgiving and discussed the important roles the Pilgrims and Native Americans each played in the feast. We are thankful for this awesome group of first graders!
Mrs. Mellendorf's first grade class read/listened to the Junie B. Jones Thanksgiving chapter book. In this book, the characters brought in one item they were thankful for and had a Thankful Bag Show and Tell. Mrs. Mellendorf's class did the same activity!
Happy Thanksgiving from Mrs. Kreke’s Kindergarten Class! They are thankful for their parents and all they do! They are also very thankful to be a Wooden Shoe!
Second graders created their own version of the Macy's Day Parade after reading about the history of the parade in the book "Balloons over Broadway".

Mrs. Bushue’s 2nd grade class and Mrs. Chesnut’s 6th grade class made Christmas tree ornaments for the residents of a nursing home. They were excited to send holiday cheer to others.
Sixth graders and second graders worked together to make Christmas trees for those in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Kreke’s kindergarten class built a tree house using connect straws! They learned about their community and neighborhood! In science, they talked about blue prints and how to make a house! As a class they made a tree house! It took teamwork and creativity!
TGS students collected food to donate to Catholic Charities! We surpassed our goal of 6000 items. TGS brought in a total of 7,792 items (including monetary donations)! Miss Mette's 4th grade homeroom had the most items brought in - 787 items. Thank you to 5th grade for helping with the collection and charting of how many food items were donated. Awesome job, TGS!!
Jerry Runde shared good financial information with the 3rd graders. He taught them about spendings, saving, sharing, and investing money. The students enjoyed some treats from Mr. Runde as they answered questions correctly about money.
Mr. Thoele’s class thanks local veterans for their service! Thank you to all veterans for your sacrifice!
Sixth graders are out of this world! They took a trip to the International Space Station, Mars, and the Moon today with their virtual reality goggles!
It was a fun filled week in Mrs. Kreke's kindergarten class with the Little Red Hen and making turkeys with their 4th grade buddies! Mrs. Kreke’s class took turns baking bread for their classmates! Everyone worked together and helped the Little Red Hen bake bread!
Ms. Mette's 4th grade class hosted a Google Meet with Dick and Pauline Mette who were visiting the Grand Canyon. The Mette's then gifted two books about the Grand Canyon to the class.
50's Day in Mrs. Bierman's class!
Mrs. Tipton's Kindergarten Class celebrated the 50th day of school 50's style! They became helpers at Mel's Diner and had to work for all the ingredients to make root beer floats. The students had to scoop ice cream and total tickets, sort items by 3D shape onto shelves, help seat customers at the correct tables, make ice cream cones, and put tickets in order from 1-50. They had a blast helping to complete all of the tasks to earn their reward, a root beer float!
50's Day in Mrs. Breer's Class!
1st Graders worked together in Mrs. McClellan's class to create a witch's brew. They had to mix 2 ingredients together to make the cauldron bubble.
