
Mrs. Kreke’s kindergarten class celebrated their last day!! Thanks for a great year 2021!!!!


4th graders ended an amazing school year today! Thank you to all the moms who volunteered to help with the outdoor games!

Camping day in kindergarten! Students made a "campfire", designed their own binoculars, made necklaces, read with a flashlight, and had a yummy smores snack!





Mrs. Meyer’s math class designed their own Cedar Mill Amusement parks using area, percent interest gained, annual income, cost to build, and real world problem solving strategies!




Third graders got to celebrate Career Day this week. Here are just a few of our amazing and talented parents that generously volunteered their time to educate our students.




Thank you to the TEF for these new classroom instruments! The second grade students loved making music together with these instruments and Mrs. Brown is excited to continue making music for years to come!


Outstanding 5th Grade Band awards this year go out to Tommy Habing who plays percussion and Addisyn Koester who plays the flute.


Mrs. Kreke’s kindergarten class visited State representative Adam Niemerg! They also stopped by the post office to mail a very important letter!! Thanks Mr. Niemerg for the hats, flags and treats!


After reading the story, Officer Buckle and Gloria, purchased by the Teutopolis Education Foundation, the second graders enjoyed a visit from School Resource Officer, Eric Higgs. Officer Higgs described his job and talked about the tools on his belt. The students also got to check out his squad car. Thanks Officer Higgs and TEF!




Mrs. Yager and Mrs. Bushue’s classes had a fiesta last week to wrap up their reading story, “Mice and Beans”!

Mrs. Kreke’s kindergarten class enjoyed pet day last week! Thanks to all our parents, grandparents, and friends who brought pets for us to see!

In there Effingham Daily News Mother of the Year essays, these students wrote that their mothers were kind, creative, playful, hardworking and smart! These students in Mrs. Probst’s room had winning essays! We are so proud of these students!


Second grade didn’t let the rain stop them from having fun and exploring nature on their field trip!

Teutopolis Kindergarten spent the day away last Friday!! We enjoyed time at the park and made masterpieces at Stang Arts! Thanks parents and TGS for making this day a great one!!




Mrs. Jansen's second graders had a special visitor from London, England. Olivia, Mrs. Jansen's niece, spoke to the class about English money, the countries of the United Kingdom, and the different words used in England such as ice lolly, queue up, bap, and candy floss. She read The Tale of Peter Rabbit by English author Beatrix Potter and the children enjoyed a tea party complete with fairy cupcakes.




What a great day Mrs. Jansen's and Mrs. Hoene's 2nd grade classes had at the Ballard Nature Center!

Preschoolers are closing out the year with a dinosaur theme. There’s just something about dinosaurs that younger learners love!

Fourth graders wish Miss Flood and Miss Bueker good luck as they continue studying education at EIU. We celebrated their final day with a field trip to Silver Dollar Lanes.
