First grade is “snow” much fun with Mrs. McClellan’s, Mrs. Probst’s, Mrs. Mellendorf’s, and Mrs. Kinkelaar’s classes!

First grade students in Mrs. Probst’s room observed that there were no differences in the inside of an egg. Eggs that were white, brown, or greenish in color still were the same on the inside. What really matters in life is how we treat others.

The Preschool and Kindergarten hallway is ready for winter, and I think they are wishing for snow!!!




Preschool Round Up will be held at the Teutopolis Grade School. Please call Barb Weber at 217-857-3232 to set up an appointment if you have a child between the ages of 2-5 years old for a free developmental screening.

Private Damon Sabo visited his pen pals in Mrs. Jansen's 2nd grade class before leaving for Fort Carson, Colorado. The 2nd graders are very proud of Pvt. Sabo!


Who doesn't love Show and Tell? These first graders were able to bring one item to school that they received from Christmas. They worked on some public speaking and had to talk to their peers about what they brought, who they received the item from, and why they chose this item to share.
