
Mrs. Jansen’s kindergarten students worked together as a group on a 3 Billy Goats STEM project. Students were asked to build a bridge that would hold all 3 Billy Goats. Great Job working together!






Mrs. Willman's first graders finished their pumpkin unit today by carving a pumpkin! The students voted on making a clown face pumpkin!




The 2024 Fall Fun Run will be an after school event hosted by the TGS 2nd Quarter Student Council. Your child will be bringing home the informational flyer and permission slip today. If your child would like to participate in the Fall Fun Run on October 29th, please complete the permission slip and return to school along with the $5 registration fee by October 25th. Please call the TGS office if you have any questions.

TGS preschoolers are fine tuning their fine motor skills each week with some fun activities!



Preschool students enjoyed learning all about apples. They had several apple activities and even had a taste test involving apple foods. They finished the unit with an apple sink or float experiment.





This week, first grade is learning about jobs in our community.
Deputy Ritz and Deputy Dale made a visit to the first grade classrooms today to talk about Deputy Dale’s special job in our school community!





Mrs. Schabbing's 5th graders had more fun in math class by incorporating music and dance!




Mrs. Kreke's kindergarten class finished learning about the letter P with pumpkins, popcorn, and pancakes!





The first graders had the best time on their field trip to The Great Pumpkin Patch in Arthur!






Sixth graders had a wonderful time today visiting the planetarium and trampoline park!





Mrs. Bushue’s second grade class voted on which type of apple was their favorite. They also made homemade apple sauce.







Students in Mrs. McClellan's class have been learning all about apples. Did you know there are over 4,000 different kinds? They performed experiments like which parts float and sink and how they change colors in different liquids! They topped it off with a taste testing party!




Students in Mrs. Jansen’s kindergarten class enjoyed a STEM problem solving activity.






Ms. Kreke’s 2nd grade class read the book, “Leaf Man” and made their own leaf man.







The students in Mrs. Drees' 3rd grade class were given a Friday challenge. They had one piece of paper, scissors, glue, and a 20 min time frame to see who could make the longest paper chain? We learned that planning and teamwork are important for success. Congrats to the blue team!




Ms. Tarin's class had some fact family fun with Oreos in math class!






SIxth grade science students designed and created functional exercise equipment to counteract the effects of microgravity on the bones and muscles for astronauts on a deep space mission.


Mrs. Waldhoff’s 2nd grade class and Mrs. Kreke’s Kindergarten class enjoyed learning all about their buddies! They asked each other about their favorite things and then drew a picture together!
