
Mrs Jansen’s Kindergarten class learned about chemical reactions while having some fun mixing Halloween potions!



Every student in Mrs. Mellendorf's 1st grade classroom received the book "Room on the Broom" thanks to some first-grade reading sponsors! After creating their own witch broom out of construction paper, they put the characters in sequential order and then used their Monster puppets as their Reading buddies.





Mrs. Drees had her third graders create marble mazes for a group project. A lot of planning, creativity, and teamwork happened during this STEM project. The students pictured won the mazes.


The students in Mrs. Waldhoff's and Mrs. Tarin’s 2nd grade classes held an election! They first had to become a “registered” voter to receive a voters card! Then they were able to vote on their favorite cookie!






6th graders created electromagnets to kick off their study on electromagnetic radiation!

2024 Fall Fun Run Winners!


5th Grade Book Club meets twice a week over their lunch hour to discuss a book with Mrs. Wells and Mrs. Schabbing. There are over 60 fifth grade students who chose to participate in this book club, and they are reading the book Unstoppable by Tim Green.



Mrs. McClellan's 1st graders became scientists and mixed just the right ingredients to make a special Halloween concoction!




2024 Kindergarten Halloween Parade






First and fifth grade buddies came together for the month of October to create 3D monsters!


Mrs. Jansen’s kindergarten class estimated how much their pumpkin weighed, how many seeds were inside, and the circumference of the pumpkin.




TGS 4th graders learned about the election process and the parts of our government from Representative Adam Niemerg. Students participated in a debate and were allowed to vote. They became Official Legislators for the Day!


Fall fun in preschool!





All students in Mrs. Wendt's Kindergarten class can zip their own coats! They celebrated with an ice cream party!





Students in Mrs. Mellendorf's 1st grade have been working hard to improve their reading fluency with a Reader's Theatre. Once they have perfected their rate of reading, they will use their bravery and reading skills to perform their Reader's Theatre in the front of the classroom.

The 2nd Quarter Student Council Members would like to invite students and staff to dress up for Halloween! On October 31st, the following grade level students and teachers are invited to dress up accordingly:
PreK-2nd Grade- Dress up like your favorite superhero
3rd & 4th Grade- Dress up like your favorite book character
5th & 6th Grade- Students dress as teachers and teachers dress as students


The 6th grade teachers won the staff pumpkin decorating contest! Thank you TGS student council members for voting on their favorite pumpkin!





Students in Mrs. Repking's first grade class went on a leaf hunt and completed a leaf investigation!





Mrs. Jansen’s kindergarten students worked together as a group on a 3 Billy Goats STEM project. Students were asked to build a bridge that would hold all 3 Billy Goats. Great Job working together!
