Nick Tensen, senior at Teutopolis High School, recently finished his Eagle Scout project. Nick, a scout from troop #6137, chose his service project to benefit the Teutopolis band program. Nick built two podiums for the Teutopolis junior high and high school bands. “It took about two weeks to complete and it was very enjoyable,” Nick said. Nick completed the project at the Jake Doedtman residence and many troop members showed their support by helping. Nick has been a member of the troop for eight years as well as the band program at Teutopolis for eight years. Special thanks to the Teutopolis School Board for covering the cost of the podiums.
