THS Senior, Joseph Niemerg, auditioned for and received the Virtuoso Scholarship, a full-tuition music scholarship from Quincy University. Only two instrumental scholarships are awarded each year. Joseph received the scholarship for tuba. Next year at Quincy, Joseph will play tuba in the band and sing bass in the choir.
