Teutopolis Junior High Softball Regional game for Saturday, September 8, 2018, has been cancelled. The game will be played on Monday, September 10, at Webster Field in Kinmundy. Game time is 4:30 pm.
Teutopolis Junior High will be biking to school on Friday, August 31, 2018. Students will meet at the church parking lot between 7:30-7:45 am. We will depart at 7:45 am sharp. Students will bike from the church parking lot to TJHS in the morning before school. TJHS teachers will be riding their bikes and monitoring this event. Parents can pick their child's bike up at TJHS anytime after 3:00 pm.
7th grade students in Mrs. Gaddis and Miss Vogt's TGS Service Project exploratory class are working with Mrs. Kreke's kindergarten students. The 7th graders will be writing a story featuring the kindergarten student as the main character. To get to know each other better, they had the chance to meet, and the kindergarten students were full of energy as they told their 7th grade buddy all about themselves! When the books are complete the students will get to meet again so the 7th graders can give the kindergartners their book. We cannot wait to see what our authors come up with!
Teutopolis Junior High Girls Softball raffle winner was Paula Lustig. Paula won a $200.00 gift certificate to McMahon Meats. Nikki Lustig coach, Paula Lustig winner, Josie Drees sold the winning ticket and Brent McMahon. Congratulations Paula!
7th Grade Orientation will be held on Wednesday, August 15, starting at 1:00 pm in the Teutopolis Junior High Cafeteria.
Girls Junior High Softball will be meeting tonight July 30, at 5:00 pm to hand out uniforms.
A parent meeting will be held at 5:30 pm. This will take place under the pavilion at the park.

Teutopolis Junior High Band Students performing the National Anthem at Busch Stadium, will have rehearsals Monday-Thursday, July 9-12, at Teutopolis Junior High.
Rehearsals will start at 4:00 pm lasting 45 minutes each day. Teutopolis Junior High will be playing at the Cardinal game on Friday, July 13, 2018.

Americanism Essay Contest winners were: Leah Stone (3rd), Alaina Helmink (2nd), Lauren Heuerman (1st). Heuerman's essay also won 4th at the district level. The topic was "What National Monument Meant the Most to Me." The members of the Teutopolis Legion Post 924 were in attendance to present the winners with their certificates.
