
Mrs. Siemer’s 3rd grade class met with their buddies and created a friendship bracelet that went along with a Thanksgiving story. 3S is thankful for their KT buddy class!




Mrs. Meyer’s 5th grade class and Mrs. Kinkelaar’s 1st grade class had a great time together during their November Buddy Day! These kiddos have so much to be thankful for! We love Buddy Day!


Second graders paired up with sixth graders on World Kindness Day to create a craft for elderly residents at local care facilities.





The second graders got to go to the Little Theatre on the Square to see Elf Jr., The Musical. They had an amazing time! “The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear 🎵.”




Whoooooooo are these cute, little owlets??? Students in Mrs. Mellendorf's class have been completing a unit on nocturnal animals. This week they learned specially about owls and their habitats, and also watched a few videos about owl digestion and owl pellets. What a hoot!

Students in 3-Drees worked in groups to see who could make the tallest tower. They had a 30 minute time limit with certain supplies. They learned the power of grit and perseverance.


Mrs. Kinkelaar’s 1st graders learned all about line of symmetry during math. They created symmetrical designs using rulers and pattern blocks. The students loved this hands on activity. Their creativity shined!

Preschoolers had fun with some hands-on learning by mixing colors with friends!



Sixth graders are building and programming Lego Robots to simulate the Mars Rovers. Thank you to TEF who generously funded these Lego Robots five years ago!



Congratulations to our TGS 6th grade band members who made the ILMEA Junior High Band for district five. They will rehearse and perform at EIU in Charleston later this month.


Halloween fun in the Early Childhood classroom!






Students in Mrs. McClellan's 1st Grade class had fun making a Witch's Brew. They had to figure out which spooky ingredients would make the cauldron bubble!

Our amazing food service team provided a fun Halloween lunch for students and staff! The mummy dogs were a big hit!
