Ms. Mette's reading class just finished a biography project. Some students chose to dress up as they presented. Can you identify any of these famous people?
Second grade students in Mrs. Yager’s class had fun with their reading story this week. They made puppets to go along with the play, “How the Beetle got her Colors”. Each group had a chance to perform in front of the class.



Mrs. Sandschafer's fourth graders spent time with their first grade buddies from Ms. Kreke's class. The students enjoyed playing games of spring themed BINGO together.


Fourth graders wrapped up a science chapter about electricity with a special guest speaker from Shelby Electric Cooperative.
Ms. Kreke's 1st graders are learning how to spell ou and ow words on their Fundations Boards.



Mrs. Breer's kindergarten class has been learning how to keep their bodies and teeth healthy! Mrs. Jeffries, a local dental hygienist, gave a presentation about dental health!
Students in Mrs. McClellan's 1st grade class finished up their penguin unit with a group project. Each group researched a different type of penguin and presented the information to the rest of the class!






Mrs. Jansen's kindergarten class has been learning how to stay healthy and combat germs. The students used a special powder and light to see all the germs they need to wash away!

Deputy Ritz and Dale visited second grade today! They learned all about how Dale was trained to help people!

1st graders in Mrs. Kinkelaar’s class have been practicing their sums of 10 addition facts! Today they made lovely different ways to make 10 with conversation hearts! ❤️




Students in Mrs. Jansen's kindergarten class have been busy bundling groups of 100 and being paleontologist.



Thank you, Dr. Chris Weber, for speaking to our fourth graders. They enjoyed hearing about your job as an optometrist and learning more about parts of the eye.
First graders is Mrs. Mellendorf’s class spent the last two days learning about groundhogs and making predictions. These four students guessed that he would NOT see his shadow and they were happy to make the correct prediction! Bring on the spring weather! After a few more groundhog books and activities, students had to write about how they would wake up the groundhog if they were in charge. They then showed their bravery and read their writing in front of the class! Happy Groundhog Day!
