
Preschool Picassos had a great night painting with a special person!





Kindergarten classes enjoyed a fun filled day on their field trip at the children’s museum in Terre Haute.



Mrs Jansen’s kindergarten class enjoyed visiting with 2 of the girls high school basketball players. Stella Mette and Sophia Martin read books and let the students try on their basketball jerseys. Thank you girls!


The 6th grade band performed at Six Flags this weekend and received an excellent rating! Great job Mrs. O and 6th grade band members!



To celebrate Earth Day, sixth grade students completed an oil spill challenge, picked up trash, and pulled weeds around our school. Our world is a better place because of the kind acts of our children!




April is Autism Awareness Month! On April 28th, we will have a SHINE BLUE TOGETHER day in which staff and students can wear blue to show their spirit and support for Autism.


The first graders threw their DO student, Bailey, a birthday party! They sang to her, enjoyed some popsicles, and watched her open presents!


Thank you to TEF for purchasing all these interactive games and activities to use with students receiving Title I services. They will love them.


The 4th graders at TGS had a great day of science exploration! While there, they watched an IMAX movie about Antarctica, built parachutes in Makerspace, and much much more.



Mrs. Willman’s class earned their class prize! They voted on popsicles and sidewalk chalk! We picked the perfect day to celebrate good behavior and hard work!




TGS Preschool students enjoyed having an Easter egg hunt with their 3rd grade buddies!





Mrs. Kreke’s kindergarten class had a day filled with Eggs, candy, and fun!









Mrs. Kreke’s kindergarten class helped Bobby Bunny by making him a new basket to use this Easter! Teamwork and determination got the job done!








5th graders held their own March Madness tournament with a "Tournament of Books." They voted for their top 16 chapter books, and then those were placed into a bracket. Each day students in 5th and 6th grade voted for the winner of a game. The winner of the Tournament of Books was the "I Survived" Series!!!


TGS Families - Due to the power outage throughout town, TGS will postpone the 5th grade play, The American Revolution. An alternate date/time will be communicated asap.


Opening Day! The TGS 5th GRADE teachers are divided!!


Second grade students from Mrs. Yager’s and Mrs. Bushue’s classes wrapped up their adjective unit by describing foods. They had to use their five senses at the “Dragon Diner” and critique the food. They had so much fun!





Ms. Mette’s 4th grade students are “buddies” with Mrs. Jansen’s kindergarten class. They enjoyed playing the card game “War” together.


Fifth grade students helped their first grade buddies solve addition and subtraction problems. When they were successful and got them all correct they worked as a team to build colorful rainbows together! Together these students had so much fun today!






After learning about anemometers in science, the students in Mrs. Drees' class made their own with partners. It took teamwork, trial and error, and problem solving to get them to spin in circles when they blew on them. Too bad it wasn't a windy day today!!
