Here are the seven winners of Teutopolis Grade School from the St. Louis Symphony's Picture the Music project we completed in December. CeCe Passalacqua made it to the top 100 finalists from all of the participating schools. The top Teutopolis winners: 1st grade: Brooklyn Runde, 2nd grade: Malli Grunloh, 3rd grade: June Tegeler, 4th grade: Kyle Waldhoff, 5th grade: Grayson Schmidt, and the two 6th grade winners: Max Heuerman and CeCe Passalacqua. Great job on being creative TGS students!

CeCe Passalacqua got honored Wednesday night on the Powell Hall stage in St. Louis! She was one of the top 100 finalists in the program Picture the Music which most elementary students at Teutopolis Grade School, and elementary schools around the St. Louis area, participated in right before Christmas break. Picture the Music is a program through the St. Louis Symphony where schools in the area can participate. Each student listens to a piece of music selected by the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, this year's piece was the fourth movement of Dmitri Shostakovich's Symphony No. 5, and creates artwork that describes how the music spoke to them individually. It is so fun to see the students' imagination and creativity run wild with this project. Her artwork along with the other finalists will be displayed in St. Louis at The Magic House and then the Plaza Frontenac! Congratulations CeCe for creating a masterpiece and being recognized on stage for your amazing artistic ability!

A big thank you to our own Mr. Huber for sharing his expertise and robots with us! The fourth graders had a blast using his remote control robots to have some friendly competition!

The Kindergarten classes put on a great performance of "The Zoo"!
