Our 5th graders had the amazing opportunity to join a live author chat with Kate DiCamillo, the beloved author of Because of Winn-Dixie and so many other favorites! She shared an inspiring message about the importance of reading and even answered some of the students’ own questions. What a memorable experience for our young readers!

Our fifth graders celebrated the end of 1st quarter with an afternoon of Homeroom Kickball and a Water Balloon Toss! Students who showed respectful behavior and completed their work on time were also treated to a POPSICLE and prize reward for their hard work and dedication.
We’re so proud of these growing students and the effort they’ve shown all quarter long. What a fun way to wrap up 1st Quarter!
