
Mrs. Habing's 6th grade math class had a challenge to memorize Pi to the farthest decimal place value. The winner was Mr. Joey Niebrugge with 92 decimal place values! The entire math class enjoyed Pi Day by having delicious, homemade apple pie brought in by our wonderful mom, Carrie Copple. Joey won a TEF donated Chromebook case, a 'Pi'napple, Oatmeal Creme 'Pi'es, and three miniature 'Pi'es.

Students in Mrs. Mellendorf’s first grade class celebrated Read Across America Week with many Dr. Seuss stories. They read “The Cat in the Hat” and turned themselves into Thing 1 and Thing 2!
