Students in Mrs. Mette's English II classes recently enjoyed an "Ides of March" party in honor of finishing their unit on Julius Caesar. During the party, students solved Caesar-related worksheets to access codes to break into their group's lockbox.

High School students in Mrs. Schrock’s Floral Design class made Chocolate Kiss Roses for Valentines Day. These bouquets allowed the girls to practice their skills before starting on real arrangements.

Teutopolis High School participated in the ACES academic challenge competition at LakeLand College on February 3.
Gus Siemer placed 1st in physics and 1st in english.
Adam Lustig placed 2nd in engineering graphics.
Isaac Vahling placed 3rd in physics.
Gus and Adam will compete in sectional competition in March.

ATTN: Parents of Graduated Teutopolis Unit 50 Special Ed Students...
The Illinois State Archives recommends destroying special education records five years after the student has graduated or permanently withdrawn from school. The special education records of students who attended Teutopolis Unit 50 school district in Teutopolis, IL who were born before 1997 will be disposed of April 1, 2023. Those students have until March 31, 2023 to pick up their records. Contact Melissa Habing at TGS at 217-857-3232 to make an appointment to obtain your records.
