TGS Staff! What a Day!


We had some very cute Christmas kiddos in preschool this morning!

THS boys Varsity/JV basketball vs. Effingham is CANCELLED for tonight (12-17-19). It has been rescheduled for Friday, January 3, 2020 at Effingham. The JV game will start at 6:00 pm.

Good evening. There will be no school in the Teutopolis School District for Tuesday, December 17. High School semester exams will be given on Thursday and Friday with review on Wednesday.

The regularly scheduled Teutopolis CUSD #50 December School Board Meeting for this evening has been postponed until Wednesday evening (December 18) at 6 PM due to inclement weather conditions.

Teutopolis High School Cancellations for Monday, 12-16: Boys F/S basketball at Mt. Vernon and Girls JV/Varsity at home vs. Danville High School.

Good evening! There will be no school in Teutopolis Monday, December 16th due to inclement weather and poor road conditions. Be safe!!!

Effingham Teutopolis Boy's Basketball Christmas Tournament passes are now available at the high school office. They can also be purchased at the gate on the day of the tournament.


We are all ready for the Polar Express! The students are enjoying their yummy trains!

The Lady Shoes will be playing in the 2019 Charleston Girls Holiday Tournament.

First grade students have been enjoying Polar Express Week! These conductors are ready to send off their Santa letters to the North Pole!

Congratulations to Doug Smith and Dave Burrell! They will be inducted as friends of basketball to the IBCA Hall of Fame in May 2020.

Students in Mrs. Drees’s class worked in groups to make the tallest peppermint tower. They had 25 peppermints, 1 piece of paper, and 5 pipe cleaners! Congrats to this group for making a 9.5 inch tower. Creative ideas, grit, and determination were a must for this project!
