Soccer Final: Shoes win 5-0 over St. Anthony. The Shoes will play for the regional championship on Friday, Oct. 18 at 6:30 pm. They will play either Newton or Altamont. Congratulations to St. Anthony on a great season.

Soccer update: Shoes up 4-0 over St. Anthony with 11 minutes to go in the game.

Lady Shoes Senior Night. The Shoes beat St. Thomas More 8-1 and finished their regular season with an undefeated dual meet record of 12-0! Awesome job seniors! Thank you for the memories and good luck with your future endeavors.


Lady Shoes Volleyball Final: Lady Shoes win 25-19, 12-25, 25-16 over the Newton Lady Eagles. Nice job ladies and Coach Mills!!


Congratulations to the FFA Soil Judging team! On Thursday, October 10, the team went to Marshall, Illinois and earned 1st place in the Soil Judging and Land Use competition. The team will compete on Oct. 22 at the State Soil competition at Black Hawk East College.


Mrs. Jansen's students have been learning about the sun. Using thermometers, they checked the temperature before they put a container of sand, water, and an ice cream sandwich in the sun. Then they checked the temperature after the items had been in the sun for 3 hours. Wow, they had fun learning about the sun's power!

The Lady Shoes golf team placed 7th at the IHSA Regional. Averie Bushue placed 3rd overall with a score of 79. Averie advanced to the Mt. Carmel sectional on Monday. Congratulations Averie!

Preschool students took a nature walk yesterday! They found leaves, sticks, acorns, and buckeyes.

Good weather, good kids, great memories! Pumpkin Patch 2019 is in the books!

These kiddos had a wonderful time on the first grade field trip today. They visited The Great Pumpkin Patch in Arthur, IL.

Mad Science is presenting Up, Up, and Away to our 4th, 5th and 6th grade students today!



Mrs. Habing’s 6th graders enjoyed rolling ‘electrons’ to find the ‘nucleus’ in science today. Several also represented famous scientists in history who made advancements on the understanding of the atom.



Kindergarten students had a great day at the apple orchard!





Fourth graders spent the day at Casey Stone learning more about rocks and minerals. Thank you Charlie Heuerman and Clint Beccue for sharing your knowledge!
