Congratulations to Lyla Apke from Teutopolis Grade School for being selected as one of the top 100 students in the Picture the Music Competition. The St. Louis Orchestra Volunteer Association sponsors the Picture the Music Competition. Picture the Music is an educational activity that has students listen to selections of symphonic music and then the students create their own artistic interpretations through paintings, colorings, or drawings. An exhibition, awards ceremony, and reception will be held to honor the top 100 finalists at Powell Symphony hall in St. Louis on February 25th.
