We have been contacted by a gentleman in Manhattan, IL who is organizing an Irish Day parade on March 2. The theme is Unique Mascots in IL. He wants the Wooden Shoes represented. No school groups are interested. Are any community groups interested? If so, contact Bill Fritcher at the Unit #50 office.

After 3 quarters, the Lady Shoes trail Effingham 32-29.
Lady Shoes lead Effingham 21-18 at halftime. At Mater Dei, the boys lead 26-17 at the half.
Lady Shoes lead Effingham 17-6 with 5:53 to go in the 2nd and the boys lead Mater Dei 13-10 after 1 quarter.
These fun teachers just attended The AWESOME Teacher Conference by Monica Genta. Many great ideas and activities were shared to engage our students. It was amazing!!
The Chocolate Test - 6C students enjoyed hot chocolate as they worked on their reading test.
Engineering Challenge - After learning about the Great Wall of China, Mrs. Chesnut's class engineered their own Great Wall, out of sugar cubes. They had to use chopsticks to move and stack their sugar cubes.
Teutopolis Wooden Shoes defeat the Mt. Zion Braves 57-29.
