Some of the second grade classes did a worm investigation today! We love science!


These first-grade students are working hard at earning more AR points. They use whisper phones to help them read!

Lady Shoes win the first game against Kansas. Currently in game 2. Lady Shoes up 14-8.

Today in science Mrs. Breer's kindergarten class mixed together different potions to make a witch's brew! We found out that Crushed Dragon's Teeth (baking soda) and Troll Saliva (vinegar) have an awesome reaction when mixed together!

Mrs. Yager’s class celebrated a birthday today with these delicious and festive cake pops! Yummy!


Pumpkin Predictions!!
Mrs. Jansen's Kindergarten Class estimated the circumference of their classroom pumpkin using yarn, estimated how many seeds were in their pumpkin, and estimated how much their pumpkin weighed.


TGS Monster Mash Run/Walk is tonight!
Registration/Sign in begins at 5:15 p.m. The race will begin promptly at 5:45 p.m. Medals will be awarded to first race finisher (boys and girls) in grades K-3 and 4-6.
Parking near the East Circle Drive is limited. Please park in the front parking lots.
Costume Judging will be at 5:30 p.m. Best costume will be awarded after the race.
Race Route: Start at the corner of S. Oak and Vine (right across the tracks behind the east circle drive), west on vine, south on John, East on County Rd. 1450th N., and then back North on South Oak Street.
*Please be aware that there will be many students/participants on this path. There may be a small portion of time when roads will be shut down for the runners/walkers.

Miss Mette's class just finished reading Wonder. This book is our favorite! We also watched the movie and picked out Wonder bracelets and bookmarks. "When given the choice between being right or being kind, choose kind."

Today is "Stuffed Animal Day" in Mrs. Mellendorf's classroom! These students worked hard to "Fill the Bucket" in the classroom and were rewarded for their great behavior. The students' stuffed animals get to assist them in all their learning activities for the day!

2018-19 Gold Seat Sales: Reserved Gold Seat tickets for the upcoming Boys JV / Varsity Basketball season may be picked up in the THS office during school hours from November 1st - December 1st. Gold Seat tickets are $40.00 each. Any tickets that are not picked up by December 1st will become available to the public for purchase. These seats are for regular season home games only, they do not include the Holiday Tournament or the Shootout. Will a pumpkin sink or float? During our science lesson this morning, Mrs. Bierman's kindergarten class was surprised to find out that our small, medium, and large pumpkins all floated in the water.
