Students in Mrs. Mette's English II classes recently completed their 'Genius Hour - Passion Project' unit. This unit is student-driven learning where students spend class time researching a topic of interest, exploring and stepping outside comfort zones, and creating a culminating project to present to the class. Topics of interest (as shown in the student examples) included welding, genealogy, carpentry, and the beach.

Teutopolis High School Welcomes Ms. Lindsey Scherer

Our Men of Valor group held its second meeting this week as we continue our leadership character series with a great group of young men.
In week one we discussed the virtue of courage, having the strength to do what is right even when it’s difficult. This week’s conversation focused on the virtue of integrity, and the importance of being the same person at school, at home, with friends, and when no one is watching.
A big thank you to the Teutopolis Civic Club for donating donuts for the group these past two meetings. We appreciate the support of our community as we invest in the next generation of leaders.
Mr. Kreke Mr. Niebrugge
