Due to SIU-C giving us the wrong ticket box we won't be able to give out ticket information till tomorrow morning. We will post the information and ticket links as soon as we get it hopefully around 9am. We will post on our school website. Tickets will have to be purchased through the State Farm ticket center.
THS students you will be able to purchase tickets tomorrow for the State basketball games. Each session is $15 dollars and you will need to purchase both sessions tomorrow. So the tickets will be $30 dollars.

Each month, upperclassmen are recognized for their active participation in the school community, their academic efforts, and their kindness and respect towards others. o Once tickets have been purchased and fans are at the gate, they will go to their Go
Fan account, select the specific event, and then select “View My Tickets”
o Once they do, all of the tickets they’ve purchased for this event will be listed on
their phone.
o Then, they need to tap each ticket individually.
o Once they tap a ticket, it will be highlighted in green.
o Then, tap “Use 1 ticket”
o Once they do, a warning screen will pop up.
o They then tap, “Use Ticket”, which should be in a green button.
o At that point, a checkmark in a green button will appear along with the words “1
Ticket Redeemed” and at that point a customer will be permitted to enter the gym.

On January and 26th and January 30th, the finals for the THS Poetry Out Loud Recitation contest were held. The following Students competed after advancing from their classroom competitions: Joni Beckman, Emma Bloemer, Olivia Copple, Anabelle Habing, Martin Habing, Carly Kingery, Elayna Lee, Ava Ruholl, Anna Probst, Korynn Westendorf, and Allie Wilhelms,
Each participant recited two poems which they hand selected in front of a panel of judges.
The runner up is Anabelle Habing. The Winner is Ava Ruholl. Both Winners will advance to the Regional competition at Parkland College on February 15th.
