Congratulations to the Teutopolis Lady Shoes on a second place finish at the Charleston Holiday Tourney. Paris defeated the Lady Shoes 44-35 in overtime.

The Teutopolis Lady Shoes are playing for the championship at the Charleston Holiday Tournament on Monday, December 30. The Shoes will play Paris at 2:30 pm. Go Lady Shoes!!
Congratulations to Evan Wermert on being selected to the Effingham-Teutopolis Christmas Classic All Tournament Team. The Wooden Shoes finished the tournament in 10th place.

Miss Mette’s fourth graders ended the semester with a day full of fun and games. Merry Christmas!
First graders are reading the letters they received from the North Pole. A huge shout out to our little elves from TJHS and to Miss Vogt for keeping the magic alive!
After studying Ancient China, Mrs. Chesnut's sixth grade Social Studies built the Great Wall of China out of sugar cubes using chopsticks to transfer the blocks.
Santa is a huge hit with the TGS students! Getting in those last minute requests... ;)

Mrs. Drees’ class learned about Canada today! Mrs. Tipton (The Grinch) shared many interesting facts about Canada. They were able to sample Canadian snacks and candy. They saw Canadian money and pictures of sights around Canada. Thank you, Mrs. Tipton!


Kindergarten students in Mrs. Jansen's class enjoy a Gingerbread S.T.E.M. science project.The children were asked to build a boat as a group out of recycled items that would hopefully keep the Gingerbread cookie/man dry. Afterwards the children enjoyed eating Gingerbread cookies.
Kindergarten students had fun this week finding the school elf.
