Good evening! This is Deborah Philpot Unit 50 Interim Superintendent. I wanted to let you know that we have received concerns of a potential threat brought to the administration’s attention. Earlier today at Teutopolis High School a school resource officer was brought in to assist in interviewing students to determine any actions the district should take and if there was a credible threat. After a thorough investigation process including input from the resource officer we did not determine any evidence that a credible threat existed. However the district will continue to be on alert to ensure the safety of all students.

Students in Mrs. Jansen's class had fun with a Halloween science project. After trying many different potions, they discovered that baking soda and vinegar were the 2 that made the potion bubble and overflow in the glass. The children also discovered the power of "Yet". They kept trying until they figured out what substance/liquid would work.
On Friday Mrs. Yager’s class enjoyed pumpkin science!
Teutopolis boys & girls gave the sectional a good fight today but came up short. The girls placed 13th out of 34 & the boys placed 18th out of 35. Tons of competition as this is one of the toughest sectionals in the state. So proud of our runners & congrats to an awesome season!
Cross Country Sectionals are today at Mid America. The girls run at 10 am followed by the boys. Good Luck Coach Hoene, Coach Greuel, and Athletes!! Go Shoes
