A Bunch of Happy Second Grade Students at The Children's Museum of Illinois!

The second grade students are having a wonderful day at Scovill Zoo and the Children's Museum of Illinois!

First grade scientists in Mrs. Kinkelaar's class experimented with apples. They learned apples float due to their density!

Just like how our Wooden Shoe athletes need teamwork, we talked about how we are a team...nobody should be left out, we support each other!

THS athletes and coaches joined us for lunch and recess at TGS for "Say Hello Thursday".

Today was Mix-It-Up Wednesday at TGS!
The older students enjoyed whole group town-ball at recess! Every student played! A focus was placed on supporting each other and having fun!

Mrs. Ziegler's students enjoyed their first field trip! The students excitedly rode the bus to Hartke’s Pumpkins to check out all the pumpkins, gourds, and corn. More fun followed at the community park! It was a beautiful day to be outside!

Mrs. Niebrugge's Class at Hartke's Pumpkins!
Mr. Hartke treated each child to a little pumpkin!

Mrs. Repking's class is having a fun chess competition this week!

Mrs. Yager’s second graders had to think like an engineer as they designed an apple picker from paper!
