Mrs. Jansen's kindergarten class took a pretend "Christmas Around the World" trip. Each day we visited a new country. After visiting Sweden Doug Runde helped us talk live to a lady in Sweden. Mrs. Probst hosted a student (Ludvig) from Sweden a couple of years ago. Mrs. Probst helped us set up a time to talk to Ludvig's mother. She talked to the children about their Christmas traditions and Lucia Day.

These fourth graders from Miss Mette’s ELA class wrote and illustrated their own books. Then they enjoyed spreading some Christmas cheer by sharing their stories with the first graders.

Mrs. Schumacher's 1st-grade class enjoyed Christmas games provide by Ann Witges and Christi Donsbach!

Christmas fun continues in Mrs. Probst’s room as Miss Mette’s 4th grade students read stories, the children received their letter from the North Pole, and games were enjoyed. Many thanks to Miss Vogt and the 8th graders for keeping the Christmas magic alive.

Many thanks to Taylor Hartke for sharing her FFA experiences with the school board at Monday's meeting. Taylor is the state FFA Treasurer and a 2017 Teutopolis graduate.

Ms. Apple's 6th grade class and Mrs. Jansen's kindergarten class enjoy making sugar cone Christmas trees after taking a pretend trip to Germany!

Gingerbread Science
The kindergarten students experimented with different objects to see what would keep their gingerbread man dry when put in water. They tried a block, saran wrap, a plastic bag, and a cup. Then in groups of 4 they worked together to make a boat that they hoped would float and keep their Gingerbread man dry.

The second graders make gingerbread trains. Thanks to all who came in and helped.
