Mrs. Jansen's kindergarten class took a pretend "Christmas Around the World" trip. Each day we visited a new country. After visiting Sweden Doug Runde helped us talk live to a lady in Sweden. Mrs. Probst hosted a student (Ludvig) from Sweden a couple of years ago. Mrs. Probst helped us set up a time to talk to Ludvig's mother. She talked to the children about their Christmas traditions and Lucia Day.

Gingerbread Science The kindergarten students experimented with different objects to see what would keep their gingerbread man dry when put in water. They tried a block, saran wrap, a plastic bag, and a cup. Then in groups of 4 they worked together to make a boat that they hoped would float and keep their Gingerbread man dry.
