
CHOO CHOO! All Aboard the 1st Grade Express! The first graders have been working hard all week long on their Polar Express Unit. We ended our week by boarding our first grade train, drinking hot chocolate, and watching the movie The Polar Express.

Mrs. Repking's class has been busy programming robots to complete different challenges. A few future engineers just completed their first challenge!

Christmas Helping Hands
Ms. Apple's and Mrs. Chesnut's classes enjoyed having grandparents come and help sew a Christmas ornament for parents.

Shoes are up 19, 65-55, with 42.9 seconds to go. The Hearts are out of timeouts.

Shoes lead it 59-47 with 3:21 to play.

The Shoes go up 10 with 6:28 to play.

After 3 quarters, the Shoes hold a 43-38 lead.

Shoes are up 27-25 at the half.

After 1 quarter, the Hearts lead the Shoes 14-12.

It's a near sellout at J.H. Griffin Gymnasium. The Shoes play Effingham. Stay tuned.


Students in Mrs. Mellendorf's first grade class have been working on a Gingerbread Unit. They spent time comparing/contrasting gingerbread stories and then finished the unit by writing their own gingerbread stories. They are working hard at being authors and illustrators!

The 8th grade finish an incredible season with a 24-4 record and a loss to Germantown Hills in the state tourney 32-24.

The Lady Shoes go cold in the 3rd and trail 25-18 after 3 quarters.
