2018-19 Basketball Family Pass Ticket Sales are $50 and can be purchased at THS or TJHS between 8:30 - 3:30. Passes are good for regular season games for both Boys & Girls, HS & JH. Family Pass is for parents and immediate family members K-12.

Using "reader buddies" to read their weekly story, students had to "teach" their buddies how to read the story and teach them all about the story (character, setting, plot, structure, etc!)

THS Cross Country @ Sam Parr today is cancelled due to heat. There will be practice after school.
This school year, the 6th grade theme is Go Light Our World (or GLOW). The students are learning about how people light up their world for the better through their actions, big and small. This Friday, all of the 6th graders joined together to see that, while a few people glowing brings light, if we all glow together, we can truly make a difference and light up our world.

Mrs. Eckelberry's 4th grade reading class is preparing for a great year using growth mindset skills. They practiced stretching their brains, using grit to keep trying, and even found the keys to escape a fixed mindset! We are off to a great start to 4th grade!

Mrs. Chesnut's Social Studies class is learning about the types of government. They had a readers theater presentation entitled -Which is the Best Form of Government. During the presentation, Thomas Jefferson, Louis XIV, and Joseph Stalin discussed what type of government they thought was best.
Mrs. Chesnut's Social Studies class is learning about the types of government. After reading about 5 different types of government, they tried representing the different types of government using cereal.
