"Welcome to life in the trenches!" U.S. history students at THS got a VIRTUAL look at what the trenches of WWI might have looked like, using Unit 50's Virtual Reality goggles. The VR goggles allowed students to view virtual scenes about WWI dogfights between planes in the air, the threat of U-boats on the open seas, life in the trenches, and the uses of new weapons like machine guns, tanks, hand grenades, and poison gas during WWI.

THS Art students created sculptures using recycled newspaper to construct a form and then applied plaster strips. Once the plaster hardened they were able to complete their sculpture by painting it.
