High School and 8th Grade Scholar Bowl members faced off in a round robin on Sunday. The winning team, joined by all scholar bowl members, took on a team of parents. The "Ancient Brains" were victorious with a score of 250 to 160. Thanks to all who participated!
Congratulations to the following students who placed in the 700 Division at WYSE (Academic Challenge) Regionals held at Lake Land College on Friday, February 1, 2019.They will now compete at Sectional Competition on Thursday, March 7th at EIU.

Biology students have been working hard on their genetics chapter so they got to do their study guide Punnett squares in shaving cream.
Anatomy and Physiology students wrapping up the special senses chapter with a cow eyeball dissection! They were able to view the optic nerve, sclera, cornea, lens, iris, pupil, aqueous and vitreous humor, retina, blind spot, and tapetum. These students are spec-tacular and their future is very bright! 👓☀️

We are less than two weeks away from the Pepsi Promotion being finished. If anyone has any bottle caps that need to be sent to the HS; please do so by December 12th. They bottle caps can be turned into Connie Deters at the HS. Proceeds go to Volunteens and THS Baseball.

Seniors will NOT be required to come to school the morning of Tuesday, November 20th, but ARE required to report to school at 12:43pm for 6th, 7th and 8th periods. Seniors should report to HealthOcc, DO, Construction Trades and CEO courses as normally scheduled.
