Huge shoutout to our Maintenance Staff at the high school. Jason Huber, Doug Westendorf, Rick Julius and Josh Cottrill. They tore down a wall in the weight room and laid new flooring. This gives us an extra 400 sq feet of space. Athletic PE has 185 students this year, so the extra space is much appreciated!!!!! #GoShoes!!!!

Each month upperclassmen are recognized for their active participation in the school community, their academic efforts, and their kindness and respect towards others. Please join us in congratulating Olivia Spour for being selected as the first place winner of the 12th district Congressional Art Competition! Winning this competition means that Olivia’s artwork will be on display in the Cannon Tunnel in Washington D.C. for a year. She also wins two tickets to fly to D.C. to view her artwork and gets a private tour of our nation’s Capitol Building. Olivia’s talent and effort is taking her places! What an accomplishment!!
Construction students finished up their individual projects.
4th Quarter Careers class completed an escape room last week. Teams rushed to answer college and career-related questions to earn the keys to escape. All teams were successful!
Thank you to the Teutopolis Education Foundation for purchasing the art department a new pottery wheel! Isaac McWhorter, along with other THS art students, enjoyed creating pottery the last few weeks of school!
As a part of Welding 1 and 2 this semester, students were able to complete the requirements to become Certified in the OSHA General Industry course. These students all passed the final test and are OSHA Certified!
Three seniors in Mrs Petty’s art class made our weight room look ALOT better. Sydney Rhodes, Kennidy Wilkins and Emma Deters developed a Culture Wall and it turned out great!!! Also pictured is their “muscle” that helped them open paint cans.
